Mark Cluff joins Parents for Choice in Education board
Former State Board of Education member hopes to empower parents
Salt Lake City, UT — January 15, 2009 — Parents for Choice in Education (PCE) is pleased to announce that Mark Cluff has joined its Board of Directors. Having served four years on the Utah State Board of Education and most recently as the Board’s vice-chair, Cluff brings with him a thorough understanding of Utah’s public education system.
“In order to strengthen education in Utah, we need to empower parents. And that’s what Parents for Choice in Education is all about.” Cluff continued, “I look forward to continue having a positive impact on K-12 education.”
Robyn Bagley, Chairman of PCE, stated, “As a member of the State Board of Education, Mark was a strong voice for parents and innovation. His passion for education aligns perfectly with PCE’s mission to ensure that every child has equal access to a quality education.”
With the addition of Cluff, PCE now has eight members on its Board of Directors:
